Open Positions

Post-doctoral

Currently there are no open postdoctoral positions in my research group. However, excellent candidates and those who obtain extramural funding are always welcome to join the lab. There are many possible projects including protein-protein interaction simulations, macromolecular allostery and generalizations of existing constraint and/or elastic network models to different biological systems.

To initiate a dialogue, email a CV, source of funding, and project interests to ajrader@iupui.edu.

Graduate

There are a number of exciting projects for new graduate students interested in computational biophysics to undertake in my lab. Projects will involve the use of computer simulations to apply physical laws to biological systems. I strongly encourage new graduate students who might be interested in biophysics, especially from a molecular structure standpoint, to peruse my research website and come talk with me about possible research projects.

Potential graduate students who are interested in this research should investigate the department graduate program , apply for admissions to IUPUI and contact me about your interest. Admissions to the graduate program are accepted in the spring semester for fall enrollment.

Undergraduate

Excellent undergraduate students with computational skills and interests in biophysics are encouraged to contact me about research opportunities. Both the physics department and university support undergraduate research.
