Typical Film BYA Work
Photos with 35 mm SLR camera on stationary tripod (NO TRACKING), high speed color film, 50 mm lens operating at
f1.7 to f2.0, unless otherwise noted.
These pictures have received minimal manipulation, to accurately
reflect what you can expect to get back from a one hour photo lab. They
can be substantially improved with digital enhancement. See examples
elsewhere. Most were scanned with a Polaroid Sprint Scan 4000 at 4000dpi.

Note the reddish Orion nebula around the middle star of the sword.
Exposures longer than 20 seconds begin to show star drift due to the rotation of
the Earth.

- med resolution)
- 60 sec exposure of Orion (low resolution)
- 4 min exposure of Orion (low - med
resolution)
